A Legacy of Female Powerhouse
For over forty years, Valerie Wilson Travel has been a proudly female-led powerhouse in travel – from Valerie Wilson embarking on this extraordinary journey in 1981 to later being joined by daughters, Jennifer Wilson-Buttigieg and Kimberly Wilson Wetty, to naming Karen Magee VWT’s President in 2023.
I founded VWT with a simple promise: to deliver unparalleled service and expertise. I never imagined we would become a powerhouse in the industry. I am incredibly proud of our journey, but our growth has never come at the expense of my original mission. You can still find me speaking with clients and dreaming up their next unforgettable trips.

As an expat living in London with her young family, Valerie sought out a travel advisor to explore Europe who would approach planning the way she would — with special service and highly individualized attention.
When Valerie couldn’t find one, she launched Valerie Wilson Travel in the famed Pan Am building, quickly becoming New York’s go-to source for sophisticated travelers.
