Romantic, Medieval Tallinn

The medieval city of Tallinn, an historical area with romantic cobblestone streets, charming red roofs, medieval and gothic style houses is arguably the best preserved old town in northern Europe. The city is quite compact, most of the sights can easily explored on foot without the need of transportation. Most of the best opportunities for sightseeing, cultural events, dining, shopping, and nightlife are conveniently massed in the city center. The longest Old Town street is Pikk, whose name simply means 'long'. There you'll find Old Town's impressive guild houses, St. Olav's Church and other architectural treasures. Parallel to Pikk is Lai, whose name means 'Wide.' A trip to Tallinn isn't a trip to Tallinn if it doesn't include a thorough sampling of the local flavors. Luckily there's a huge range of cuisines to choose from on the Tallinn restaurant scene, everything from the exotic, Medieval dishes to the cutting-edge creations found in trendy restaurants. The most Estonian culinary experiences can found at restaurants like Vanaema Juures and Kuldse Notsu Korts which all specialize in traditional, national dishes. Here adventurous diners can try old favourites like jellied pork, marinated eel, Baltic sprats, stewed sauerkraut, pea soup and, at Christmas, blood sausage.

Tanzania. One of the Last Great Places on Earth.

It is said that Tanzania is one of the last great places left on earth. The plains of the Serengeti stretch out before you and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro rises like a beacon on the horizon. Tanzania's climate certainly lends itself to the idealists' dream of this country with sun-drenched days and cool nights, and for lovers of safari, there is nothing quite like it anywhere in the world. The cultures that define Tanzania are varied, but tribal influences play a vital role in the flavor of Tanzania. The country enjoys peace and tranquility, and because of this, Tanzania attracts many visitors each year. Soak up the sun and sand of Zanzibar on your final days in Tanzania. Matemwe Main Lodge, located on the main island of Unguja, is perfect for discovering the amazing waters of the Indian Ocean and the culture of Zanzibar or for simply enjoying a quiet beach holiday. Snorkeling, diving, kayaking and village tours are all possible outings to experience at your leisure.

Grenada: Fervor and Fire

At the foot of the awe-inspiring Sierra Nevada in Andalucia, Granada is a city known for its fervor and fire. The interfusion of Arabic influence and native Iberian tradition brands the atmosphere of the place, made visible at locations such as the Alhambra. Granada has an unmistakable Moorish essence, due to the fact that it was the last city to be reconquered by the Catholic Monarchs in 1492. The gastronomy, craftwork and urban planning are influenced by its glorious past. Fountains, viewpoints and "Carmenes", houses surrounded by typical gardens of this city, create unforgettable corners in the city. It is no surprise that one of its old neighborhoods, the Albaicin, has been awarded the World Heritage designation, together with the Alhambra and Generalife. A stay at the Hospes Palacio de los Patos is sure to bring one closer to this authentic Granada. Situated almost adjacent to the Puerta Real, Hospes Palacio de los Patos has been formed from a reconstructed 19th-Century town palace. Use the Hospes Palacio de los Patos as your springboard into the city and Andalucia, and enter an enchanted world under snow-capped peaks. Because the city is near the Sierra Nevada ski resort and the Costa del Sol, where tropical fruit is grown, the traditional cuisine of Granada has an exotic touch, with deep Moorish roots. Fish from the sea, country dishes from the Alpujarra and the delicious produce from the vegetable gardens in that area make up a mysterious and pleasant cuisine. Granada is famous for its large amount of bars, taverns, cellars, restaurants and tea shops, where you can taste typical products and practise the popular tradition of "going out for tapas". It involves going from one bar to another and enjoying small and varied portions of typical dishes which are often free with your drink, normally local wine or a cana (a small glass of beer). The privileged location of Granada together with the mild climate are the perfect conditions to practice many sports both on the field and in contact with nature. Visiting in the Winter? The mountains are also the perfect setting for snow sports-at the Sierra Nevada ski resort. More than 100 kilometers of pistes and a wide offer of leisure activities including indoor swimming pools and ice rinks are all available in the mountains!

Turks & Caicos- Secluded, Serene, Caribbean

The Turks & Caicos Islands appeal to vacationers looking for a destination, as well as sports fishermen and divers who appreciate the crystal-clear waters, spectacular reefs and rich sea life. The absence of a cruise port on Providenciales and the island's low-key nightlife maintain its exclusivity. In contrast to some better-known Caribbean islands, the Turks & Caicos benefit from a pleasant low-humidity climate and off-shore winds. Providenciales is especially temperate and comfortably dry year-round. Grace Bay Club is a Caribbean beach hotel, situated as the name would suggest on celebrated Grace Bay. Weaving timeless elegance with the authentic spirit of Turks and Caicos, this adults-only Providenciales hotel has a range of accommodations, from Junior Suites to Two Bedroom Suites that offer up to 2,200 square feet of luxurious appointments. Each suite has at least one private balcony or patio, along with a kitchenette and twice-daily. Fin the perfect getaway from the mainland for a day! Sail along the shores of Providenciales, snorkel on the barrier reef, set anchor on Little Water Cay (home of the indigenous rock iguanas), hunt for shells and sand dollars, or just relax and enjoy the famous Provo sunset. Grace Bay Club's Gourmet Safari is a unique, culinary expedition, designed for those who love food, wine and the excitement of the unknown. Your evening includes transportation between select, celebrated restaurants on Providenciales, where you and your safari companions sample the Caribbean's best fare!

Nicaragua Beyond Boundaries

Explore Nicaragua beyond boundaries. Explore the pristine jungles, admire the rising cliffs, visit the charming fishing villages and enjoy Mukul's Emerald Coast, a blossoming area quickly becoming known around the world as The Destination of the Future. During your stay, take a short flight to Cerro Negro Volcano, where you can speed down the summit on an "ash board." Or travel by seaplane to the remote Solentiname Islands in Lake Nicaragua to see distinctive native art. While you explore, you can visit the artistic community and admire primitive oil painting and woodcarvings. Consider Playa Manzanillo's immaculate white sands your personal playground. Consider the entire Emerald Coast of Nicaragua your kingdom. And certainly consider your accommodations your own private estate. Each of the 37 guest accommodations offers space and privacy in a style that fully embodies and compliments the natural surroundings. Views of the ocean come standard. Craft furnishings and decorations come straight from Nicaraguan artisans-carved native teak tables, sugarcane twig headboards and rum barrel staves. In Bohios, Beach Villas or in the crown jewel, Casona Don Carlos, make yourself at home. Explore the beautiful 12-kilometer stretch of nature trails-home to monkeys, sloths, iguanas and tropical birds. Mukul is located on the expansive Manzanillo Beach, and is within driving distance of a vast collection of beaches. The peaceful Guacalito Beach, the tiny Anciana Island and the dramatic Tamarindo Beach are all excellent snorkeling and scuba diving destinations. And if whale-watching, fishing excursions and underwater photography interest you, an eco-sensitive marine dock will be available in the near future. The Spa at Mukul includes six experiences housed in six private spa casitas, each equally harnessing a different ancient healing tradition, often using local Nicaraguan ingredients. This isn't a spa where you check in at the front desk or wait in reception. Instead, you're greeted by a spa concierge at your villa or bohio and personally escorted to your casita of choice. Upon arriving to your casita, therapists welcome you inside the private entry garden with a footbath ritual, and other treatments based on your individual needs. It's then and there all notion of time seems to vanish as you leave the everyday world behind.

Bath... Rare Beauty and Hot Springs

Bath is a fascinating city of rare beauty which has been attracting visitors since the dawn of time. The hot springs discovered by the legendary Prince Bladud are only one part of the city's extraordinary attraction. The Georgian City of Bath is situated in the center of the picturesque Avon Valley, boasts more Grade 1 listed buildings than Central London and is the only English city to be designated a World Heritage Site. The Royal Crescent Hotel occupies the two central buildings in the crescent, along with three elegant buildings to the rear, all surrounding the secluded 'secret' garden. From the moment you enter the fine entrance hall, with its marble bust of William Pitt, black and white checkered floor and ceremonial halberds, you realize that this is no ordinary residence. The pale colors and Regency stripes of 18th century Bath echo the less fussy interiors of the Georgian era. The house imposes a calm in which there is a sense of luxury, but with a distinct lack of rush or bustle. Visitors have been coming to bath to enjoy the restorative effects of bathing for almost 2000 years and The Royal Crescent is proud to continue this ritual. The Bath House is located within a converted coach house and stables opening onto a scented herb garden and offers a harmonious combination of Eastern-style stone and wood. A visit to this acclaimed spa will allow you to experience the effects of the relaxation pool heated to 35 degrees centigrade, the cool and tepid plunge tubs, sauna and steam rooms and the fully equipped gymnasium. Focusing on the natural elements of earth, air, fire and water, The Bath House embraces both ancient and modern-day spa culture. The extensive range of both traditional and progressive treatments and therapies soothe, relax and rejuvenate mind, body and spirit.

Patagonia and Its Imposing Natural Beauty

Patagonia is the southernmost region of the American continent and one of the least populated areas in the world. The earliest European navigation charts of the New World sometimes labeled Patagonia with the Latin legend, regio gigantum, Region of the Giants. Today we know with certainty that Patagonia is indeed the realm of giants including awe inspiring Torres del Paine Massif, Mt. Fitz Roy, the South Chilean Ice Field and it’s mammoth glaciers like Perito Moreno. The sweeping expansiveness of this landscape, with such intensely saturated natural hues and jagged, yet organic shapes, gives us a sense that it may somehow have descended from another realm; as though its imposing natural beauty were a vision or porthole into another world. Not only are the skies, lakes, rivers and fjords astounding shades of blue, but the glacially crushed rocks and sediments bestow each body of water with its very own version of blue as if blue alone could make up the rainbow. Simply stated, the French Valley is the most beautiful valley in Torres del Paine National Park, and offers a scenic hike that includes the middle portion of the famous “W” trek. This hike is considered easy to moderate. The route is 7.6 km (4.7 miles) each way and takes roughly 4 to 5 hours round trip. Begin the trek at an elevation of 50 meters above sea level and climb up to 240 meters above sea level (just under 800 ft.) to the Italian Camp. Hiking among lenga forests, rivers and bushy trails, reach several scenic spots that offer incredible panoramic views of Cuernos del Paine (the Horns), the French Glacier and Lakes Nordenskjold, Pehoé, and Scottsburg.

Provence. A Region of Passion.

Provence, the Alps, the French Riviera. These three names conjure up one beautiful vision. They awaken a desire for sunshine, daydreams of mountaintops and memories of seaside holidays. They evoke space: a wide open space. This legendary region is steeped in history and intermingled with the 7th art and art in general; it is a rugged area where the elements are intense; it is a region of passion. Terre Blanche, a 300-hectare luxury resort on an outstanding estate in the south of France, combines the charm and character of Provence with the chic of the Cote d’Azur. Recharge your batteries, savor the Provencal cuisine, visit the region’s villages and vineyards or play a round of golf. Terre Blanche, a land of inspiration for a unique stay perfectly tailored to your every desire. It is no surprise that the wines and perfumes of Provence come literally exploding out of a history that the land here has to tell. A trip to this area would not be complete without an experience dedicated to the wines and fragrances of the region.  Provence has it all, flowers, herbs and the sun.

There's always something different to do at any time of the year! Hotel Plaza Athenee is a symbol of traditional Parisian style, located in the heart of Paris on the famous avenue Montaigne, just steps from the Champs Elysees and the Theatre des Champs Elysees. Luxurious Side of Las Vegas

Las Vegas-more luxurious than you may know! Las Vegas is a city that is larger than life, with dazzling architecture and sparkling lights that showcase world-class gaming, dining and entertainment. Most hotels are major tourist attractions in their own right. You can visit an Egyptian sphinx, relax at the beach, or ride a roller coaster around the Manhattan skyline, all in a single afternoon. But did you know of the luxurious experiences offered within this desert oasis? Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is an intimate luxury hotel with rooms set high atop the Mandalay Bay tower. Accessed exclusively by Four Seasons express elevators, the 424 spacious rooms and luxury suites boast floor-to-ceiling windows and unsurpassed vistas of the Las Vegas strip. Enjoy award-winning fine dining at Charlie Palmer Steak, authentic Italian cuisine at Verandah, a world-class spa and fitness center, and a private courtyard pool. Nearly every casino in town has a retail street lined with upscale boutiques, from Bally to Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. Stop by the new Donna Karan New York for stunning gowns-and make an appointment with the in-house style concierge for a head-to-toe, red-carpet-ready look. Stella McCartney's new outpost features a giant, sparkly horse sculpture (named Lucky Spot and made from 8,000 Swarovski crystals), not to mention select items from the designer's ready-to-wear, Adidas and children's lines. Further north, the Fashion Show Mall has seven department stores to choose from, but head to the home-grown Talulah G for a well-curated selection of designer brands, such as Zac Posen, Chloe and Missoni. And across the street, the 7,500sq m art-filled Barneys New York anchors a slew of high-end labels, including Chloe, Christian Louboutin and Diane von Furstenberg. Locals argue about the best place to take in the Strip's glittering lights, but Mandarin Bar at Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas is undoubtedly among the classiest. Located 23 stories above the Strip, the intimate space attracts a stylish crowd. Go for a pre-dinner glass of Ruinart and for floor-to-ceiling views of the faux Eiffel Tower. Further afield, on Las Vegas Boulevard South, the Top of the World restaurant and Level 107 Lounge, both at Stratosphere, are undeniably touristy but still worth a visit for fantastic bird's-eye views!

New Year's Eve Gala in Vienna

The ball "Le Grand Bal" in the Hofburg ballroom is a time for rustling ball gowns, glistening jewelry and the imperial majesty of the Austro-Hungarian Empire of yore. Just as the Habsburgs used to celebrate the New Year, a gala dinner marks the start of a night of waltzing, culminating at midnight in a performance by the outstanding dancers and singers of the most famous Austrian stages. The New Year's Gala in the magnificent Festsaal of Vienna's City Hall is also an elegant event. Waltzing melodies performed by a ball orchestra, the debutantes of the season and their escorts, a sublime international buffet and the official welcome of the New Year from the state balcony prove once more that Vienna is a center of sophisticated savoir vivre. The fact that Vienna remains a center of elegance and refinement is also borne out by the balls and galas held at the city's deluxe hotels, organized with all the old-world charm of a bygone era. Needless to say, Vienna also does full justice to its reputation as the city of music, and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day concerts make for a harmonious start to the year.

Deer Valley, "Unspoiled. Uncrowded. Uncommonly Civilized."

Few locations instill such adoration as Deer Valley Resort's 2,026 acres of corduroy trails and vertical slopes. Sunny skies and soft, dry powder have tempted every generation to come out and play since 1981, when visionary hotel developer Edgar Stern launched a truly first-class ski resort experience that promised to be "Unspoiled. Uncrowded. Uncommonly civilized." Decades later, Deer Valley Resort continues to entice with its legendary skiing, service, access and on-mountain dining. All of the above inspired readers of SKI Magazine to vote Deer Valley Resort the No. 1 ski resort in North America for an unprecedented four consecutive years - most recently for the 2011/2012 season. A tranquil drive over a stone bridge and through a long promenade of fragrant spruce trees marks the transition to the grand mountain craftsman-style estate of Montage Deer Valley where art in all its expressions is king. Poetic architecture, imaginative decor and original artwork abound. The secluded nature of the setting exudes a sense of privacy and exclusivity within Deer Valley's embrace. The 154 guest room accommodations and more than 66 suites and residences, entice guests with rich furnishing, fireplaces and picturesque views of Deer Valley's ski slopes and sub-alpine valleys. Montage Deer Valley makes the most of its magical alpine setting with a Mountain Host, whose very goal is to make your ski experience carefree, and Compass Sports, our on-site outfitter offering lift tickets, ski rentals and the latest ski accessories. Plus the many surrounding pleasures - including boot warming by our ski concierge, sipping hot chocolate on the apres-ski Alpine Terrace or melting into rejuvenating Spa Montage treatments - gives guests of our luxury ski resort all the more reasons to get out and play. At some point, Park City's carefully preserved Main Street boutiques, lively bars and nightlife, cafes and theaters call every visitor down the mountain for a little urban renewal. For guests of Montage Deer Valley, a memorable outing to Park City - named by Forbes Traveler Magazine among one of the "20 prettiest towns in the United States" - is as easy as catching a short, scenic ride with the complimentary Montage Deer Valley house car or shuttle.

If you can drag yourself away from the utter relaxation of its beaches, you must discover for yourself all that Barbados offers. Besides the warm, friendly culture, Barbados offers two different beach experiences, all in one island. On the West Coast you will find calm aqua-blue sea water and coral shore beaches of fine, white sand. Venice: Every Visit Will Reveal New Treasures

"Venice is like eating an entire box of chocolate liqueurs in one go", claimed American author Truman Capote. Every corner turned reveals new, breathtaking sights of opulent palazzi, majestic churches and atmospheric canals. The sound of bells chiming the hour or the splash of water against a gondolier's oar are unforgettable. But Venice is not just about its sumptuous history; it is very much a living city, where children play football in the squares, washing flutters from lines strung across courtyards and elderly women walk their tiny dogs. Although it is a city whose timeless beauty is constantly extolled, it is also a place you can return to time and again for different experiences. Every visit will reveal new treasures, and deepen your affection for its charms. The new must-do in Venice is viewing the amazing city by air: a new luxury service that allows you to admire the city and its magical lagoon from up in the sky, taking off and landing on the water! Be guided to a private boat to board a Cessna Caravan 208 seaplane. Covering the entire Venice Lagoon and the islands of San Servolo, San Giorgio Maggiore, Giudecca, Sant'Elena, Lido, Murano, Burano and Torcello, this is an expereince that cannot be missed. As the site of one of the most memorable wars in history, Vietnam has risen up and transformed into one of the most stunning, eclectic countries in the world. Whether you are looking to hike through the emerald trails of the northern mountains or gaze at the native wildlife of its central rainforest, Vietnam intertwines the past and present to give you a once-in-a-lifetime cultural adventure. Start your day overlooking the floating markets on the peaceful shore of the South China Sea, or look out your bungalow window to see thousands of green acres of rice paddies, broken by the deep indigo currents of the Mekong River. Embark to Ha Long City for a full-day cruise of UNESCO site Ha Long Bay. The red-sailed Halong Violet, a traditional wooden luxury boat, will chauffeur you between the magnificent karsts rising from the emerald waters. Set out on a bamboo boat to explore the beaches and reefs hidden past the watery caves of the limestone escarpments. One evening, start dinner with a cooking class lead by the Halong Violet's chef. Before leaving Ha Long Bay, hike to the top of Titov Island for a breathtaking panoramic view of the bay. Take a leisurely drive through the verdant rice paddies and fields on your way back to Hanoi and return to your luxurious hotel to relax and relive the adventures.

Buenos Aires, Embracing the Best of European and Latin American Cultures

With masterful colonial architecture, a thriving arts scene and terrace wine bars packed with fashionably-dressed portenos, Buenos Aires embraces the best of both European and Latin American cultures. While in town, stay at The Faena Hotel Buenos Aires-a decadent wonderland boasting ultra-luxurious suites, a stunning pool, a rejuvenating spa and Turkish bath, two top notch restaurants and two intimate theaters offering award-winning live shows. The Faena cabaret is a place of sensuality and style, awash in red velvet and gold trim. See Argentina's finest tango show, Rojo Tango, along with a contemporary Argentinian meal and a selection of fine wines and cocktails. Rojo Tango's dancers, singers and band have been acclaimed as some of Argentina's best. The Buenos Aires steakhouse experience is unique-it's not just the grassfed beef that sets it apart. The entire dinner process is different. It is rare to eat just one meat, so instead of shrimp cocktails or crab cakes, traditional appetizers are sweetbreads, blood sausage and chorizo.
